The 3rd phase of project 2008 takes chamber music and poetry as the themes, and exhibits Teacher Li’s unique music style through more exquisite and diversified music form.  His chamber music works, which involve various scales, techniques, and styles, and contain diverse music elements, take general ideas such as fugue, minimalism, and aleatorik to be blended with the concepts of the Book of Changes and its principles, use abstract ways to express China, and display the philosophy and cultural connotation peculiarly in China.  Those chamber music works include “Piano Quintet: Breath, Break, Flow,” “Piano Trio: Three Chapters of Revolution,” “Concertante No. 1 for Violin and String Orchestra,” “Clarinet Quintet: Serenity Caressed by May,” “Human Voice and Chamber Music of 2-3 People: Scenes of Four Seasons,” “Huqin and Small Scale Ensemble: Du Fu Dreams About Li Po,” “Three Chapters of Fantasy,” “The View of Spring,” “River, Old House, Hotel,” and “Ordinary People.”  Besides, we elaborately select the poetry of 1980s, for examples, “Shepherd Girl,” “Border Hotel,” “Rain,” “Small Wooden Sandals,” “Sky Window,” “The Mistake,” “Don’t Wring Me.  It Hurts.”  Teacher Li has combined music, poetry, and rhyme successfully to make them into the best-selling records at that time that were spread to the entire world.  The project collects Teacher Li’s music scores and data, and interprets the artistic conception and philosophy of artistic creations with Teacher Li’s explanation as the auxiliary, expecting to establish a complete and hopefully perfect database for people that care about music in Taiwan by keeping more complete data of the musician’s creative works.
